ABOUT
Cipresso e Pietra is a tranquil adults-only escape in southern Tuscany, just a stone’s throw from Lucignano, a small medieval village recently designated by Italy's Tourism Office as "One of the most beautiful small towns of Italy".
This is a place to unpack and unwind. We welcome long evenings, lazy mornings, and tailored experiences that help you uncover hidden gems of Tuscany. Tucked into the hillside, the location grants you views of the valley and walking distance to bars and restaurants. It is also a perfect jumping off point to explore lesser known towns and more popular destinations like Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, and San Gimignano.

Feel Good About Your Stay
With every night you stay, 1% of your purchase will go to an environmental nonprofit. To learn more about our environmental commitments, see our sustainability page.

OUR ROOMS
Our rooms blend history with modern luxury. Once an old farmhouse dating back to the early 1800s, our latest updates bring it into the 21st century. Additionally, we believe cozy beds and comfortable rooms are essential to travel. Think fluffy duvets, organic bedding, lots of pillows, robes, AC for those hot summer days and of course ensuite bathrooms. Affordable & approachable modern luxury.

Eat
The best way to tour Tuscany, in our opinion is to center your activities around food. Whether it is making reservations at Michelin-starred restaurants, taking pasta making classes, or eating locally at some of the best off the beaten path places, we have you covered. Ask for recommendations or a list of our favorites.
